Timberline Product Design was founded in 2001 to provide innovative and cost-effective design project solutions for companies in a wide range of industries. We take pride in delivering solutions that meet the functional and styling needs, marketing requirements, and budgetary constraints of our clients, whether they need a single component with a quick turnaround, or complete design and testing services for a complex design with full production planning and vendor selection.

Philip Krebs, founder and project leader at Timberline, is an accomplished mechanical engineer with over 20 years' experience in product design and development. Skilled in product development from concept to production launch, project planning and execution, and validation analysis and testing, Phil's previous experience includes leading teams of engineers, designers and technicians in the design, testing and development of new and existing products for the medical, consumer products, industrial, military and automotive markets. The recipient of several design awards and patents, Phil has built his solid reputation as a design engineer and project manager at Warn Industries, FMC Corp., The Manitowoc Co., Inc., and Fox Racing Shox.

Phil graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from the University of California at Davis. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE International).
